STATE OF NEW HAMPSHIRE

In the Year of Our Lord Two Thousand Five

AN ACT relative to cellular telephone use during motor vehicle operation.

Be it Enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court convened:

1 New Subparagraph; Youth Operators’ Licenses; Cellular Telephones. Amend RSA 263:14, II by inserting after subparagraph (g) the following new subparagraph:

(h) The holder of a youth operator’s license shall not use any type of cellular telephone while driving a motor vehicle on a public way.

2 Effective Date. This act shall take effect January 1, 2006.
