STATE OF NEW HAMPSHIRE

In the Year of Our Lord Two Thousand Five

AN ACT relative to periodic review of state contracts by the legislative fiscal committee.

Be it Enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court convened:

1 New Paragraph; Legislative Fiscal Committee; State Contracts Review. Amend RSA 14:30-a by inserting after paragraph V the following new paragraph:

VI. The fiscal committee shall establish procedures for a comprehensive review, at least once every 10 years, of state contracts administered by the state or funded from state revenues. The committee shall determine if state contracts maximize efficiency of state funds or could provide additional state savings. The commissioner of administrative services shall provide all necessary information on state contracts to accomplish the review.

2 Effective Date. This act shall take effect 60 days after its passage.
