STATE OF NEW HAMPSHIRE

In the Year of Our Lord Two Thousand Six

AN ACT relative to the New Hampshire Humanities Council.

Be it Enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court convened:

34:1 New Hampshire Humanities Council; State Office Space. In recognition of the invaluable service that the New Hampshire Humanities Council, a private non-profit organization, provides to the citizens of New Hampshire by offering a broad range of free public humanities programs in local communities throughout the state, the council may occupy office space, free of charge, in the state-owned building located at 19 Pillsbury Street in Concord, New Hampshire or another appropriate, state-owned building. At the discretion of either party, the council and the department of administrative services may enter into a lease agreement relative to the terms and conditions of the council’s tenancy, provided that any such agreement shall meet the requirements of this section.

34:2 Effective Date. This act shall take effect 60 days after its passage.
