STATE OF NEW HAMPSHIRE

In the Year of Our Lord Two Thousand Six

AN ACT relative to prohibiting services for illegal immigrants.

Be it Enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court convened:

1 New Paragraph; Human Services; Services to Illegal Immigrant Prohibited. Amend RSA 161:2 by inserting after paragraph XVII the following new paragraph:

XVIII. Services to Illegal Immigrants Prohibited. Ensure that illegal immigrants do not receive services or assistance from the department of health and human services if such services or assistance is funded fully or in part with state funds; except that illegal immigrants shall receive emergency medical assistance as required under Section 1011 of the Medicare Prescription Drug, Improvement, and Modernization Act of 2003, Public Law 108-173.

2 Effective Date. This act shall take effect 60 days after its passage.
