STATE OF NEW HAMPSHIRE
In the Year of Our Lord Two Thousand Six
AN ACT relative to emergency management powers of the governor concerning medical and health care professionals from other jurisdictions.
Be it Enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court convened:
1 New Paragraph; Emergency Management Powers. Amend RSA 4:47 by inserting after paragraph IV the following new paragraph:
V. The power to make, amend, suspend, and rescind necessary orders, rules, and regulations relative to licensure and practice of medical and health care professionals from foreign jurisdictions to enter into and assist in this state in their professional capacity in the event of a disaster beyond local control.
2 Effective Date. This act shall take effect 60 days after its passage.
