AN ACT relative to funding exotic aquatic weeds eradication and control.

This bill makes permanent the milfoil and other exotic aquatic plants prevention program and the increase in the boat registration fee used to fund the lakes restoration and preservation fund for exotic aquatic weeds prevention and eradication. Currently the increase in the boat registration fee is repealed on January 1, 2008.

STATE OF NEW HAMPSHIRE
In the Year of Our Lord Two Thousand Six
AN ACT relative to funding exotic aquatic weeds eradication and control.
Be it Enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court convened:
281:1 Repeal. The following are repealed:
I. 2002, 201:7, relative to repealing the milfoil and other exotic aquatic plants prevention program.
II. 2002, 201:8, relative to decreasing the boat registration fee for the lakes restoration and preservation fund.
III. 2002, 201:9 relative to reducing the amount of the boat registration fee paid into the lakes restoration and preservation fund.
IV. 2002, 201:10, I, relative to effective date of the decrease in the boat registration fee, the milfoil and other exotic aquatic plants prevention program, and the decrease in the amount of the boat registration fee paid into the lakes restoration and preservation fund.
281:2 Effective Date. This act shall take effect upon its passage.
