STATE OF NEW HAMPSHIRE

In the Year of Our Lord Two Thousand Six

AN ACT relative to penalties for toll evasion.

Be it Enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court convened:

1 New Section; Evasion of Tolls and Charges. Amend RSA 236 by inserting after section 31 the following new section:

236:31-a Evasion of Tolls and Charges. If any person shall fail, neglect, or refuse to pay the toll or charge established under authority of law for the use of or passage over any bridge or highway or part thereof, he or she shall be guilty of a violation.

2 Effective Date. This act shall take effect January 1, 2007.
