AN ACT relative to expenses of operating bingo games.

ANALYSIS

This bill makes it an option for a charitable organization to retain 7 percent of the amount collected from players in a winner take all game. Current law requires the retention of the 7 percent.

STATE OF NEW HAMPSHIRE

In the Year of Our Lord Two Thousand Six

AN ACT relative to expenses of operating bingo games.

Be it Enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court convened:

1 Operation of Bingo Games; Expense Reimbursement. Amend RSA 287-E:7, XIII(e) to read as follows:

(e) A game reimbursement fee equal to 7 percent of the total amount collected from participants in any winner take all game [shall] may be paid to the charitable organization operating the game.

2 Effective Date. This act shall take effect 60 days after its passage.
