STATE OF NEW HAMPSHIRE
In the Year of Our Lord Two Thousand Six
AN ACT designating a certain highway the Gold Star Mothers Highway.
Be it Enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court convened:
255:1 Highway Named. Pursuant to RSA 4:43, the Hillsborough bypass, from the junction of New Hampshire Route 9 and Henniker Street in Hillsborough to the Antrim town line, is hereby named the Gold Star Mothers Highway, in honor of those mothers whose sons and daughters served and died in the line of duty in the armed forces of the United States of America or its allies.
255:2 Signage. The cost of design, construction, maintenance, and installation of any signage, replacement signage, or other markers resulting from this act shall not be a charge to the state. However, the design, construction, and installation of any signage or other markers required under this act shall be approved by the department of transportation.
255:3 Effective Date. This act shall take effect 60 days after its passage.
