STATE OF NEW HAMPSHIRE

In the Year of Our Lord Two Thousand Seven

AN ACT renaming the Veterans Administration Hospital the Styles Bridges Veterans Administration Hospital.

Be it Enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court convened:

1 Statement of Intent. The general court hereby recognizes the achievements of Henry Styles Bridges who served as governor of New Hampshire from 1934-1936 and as a United States Senator from January 3, 1937 until his death on November 26, 1961, by renaming the Veterans Administration Hospital in Manchester, New Hampshire the Styles Bridges Veterans Administration Hospital.

2 Veterans Administration Hospital Renamed. Pursuant to RSA 4:43, the Veterans Administration Hospital in Manchester, New Hampshire shall be renamed the Styles Bridges Veterans Administration Hospital.

3 Signage. The cost of design, construction, maintenance, and installation of any signage required under section 2 of this act shall not be a cost to the state.

4 Effective Date. This act shall take effect 60 days after its passage.
