STATE OF NEW HAMPSHIRE

In the Year of Our Lord Two Thousand Seven

AN ACT making an appropriation for the restoration of the Sawyer House at the Daniel Webster birthplace.

Be it Enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court convened:

1 Appropriation. The sum of $262,500 for the fiscal year ending June 30, 2008, is hereby appropriated to the department of resources and economic development, division of parks and recreation, for the restoration and repair of the Sawyer House at the Daniel Webster birthplace in the city of Franklin. The governor is authorized to draw a warrant for said sum out of any money in the treasury not otherwise appropriated.

2 Effective Date. This act shall take effect July 1, 2007.

HB 199-FN-A - FISCAL NOTE

AN ACT making an appropriation for the restoration of the Sawyer House at the Daniel Webster birthplace.

FISCAL IMPACT:

The Office of Legislative Budget Assistant has determined this bill will increase state general fund expenditures by $262,500 in FY 2008. There will be no fiscal impact on state, county, and local revenue or county and local expenditures.

This bill appropriates $262,500 in FY 2008 from the general fund to the Department of Resources and Economic Development for the purpose of this act.

METHODOLOGY:

The funds appropriated in this bill are for repairing and restoring the Sawyer House at the Daniel Webster birthplace in Franklin.
