HOUSE BILL 264
AN ACT relative to a time period for declaring a person to be cancer free.

This bill declares a person to be cancer free for insurance coverage purposes after 5 years of negative testing.

STATE OF NEW HAMPSHIRE
In the Year of Our Lord Two Thousand Seven
AN ACT relative to a time period for declaring a person to be cancer free.
Be it Enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court convened:
1 New Section; Insurance Coverage; Cancer. Amend RSA 415 by inserting after section 6-a the following new section:
415:6-aa Insurance Coverage; Cancer. For the purposes of accident and health insurance policies, a person shall be considered cancer free after 5 years of negative testing.
2 Effective Date. This act shall take effect 60 days after its passage.
