STATE OF NEW HAMPSHIRE

In the Year of Our Lord Two Thousand Seven

AN ACT relative to exemptions from the consumer protection act.

Be it Enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court convened:

1 Consumer Protection Act; Exemptions. Amend RSA 358-A:3, I is repealed and reenacted to read as follows:

I. Any transaction that is expressly permitted by the bank commissioner, the director of securities regulation, the insurance commissioner, the public utilities commission, the financial institutions and insurance regulators of other states, or federal banking or securities regulators, or by the laws and regulations under their administration and enforcement.

2 Effective Date. This act shall take effect January 1, 2008.
