STATE OF NEW HAMPSHIRE
In the Year of Our Lord Two Thousand Seven
AN ACT relative to Cates Hill Road and Jericho Lake Road in the city of Berlin.
Be it Enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court convened:
95:1 Intent. The legislature recognizes that Jericho Lake Road in the city of Berlin is in need of maintenance and repair. The intent of this act is to exchange the maintenance responsibilities for Jericho Lake Road and Cates Hill Road, so that the city of Berlin will be responsible for the maintenance of Cates Hill Road and the department of transportation will be responsible for the maintenance of Jericho Lake Road.
95:2 Cates Hill Road in the City of Berlin; Classification Changed to Class V. Cates Hill Road in the city of Berlin, beginning at the intersection of Hanover Road and Hillside Avenue, continuing approximately 3.6 miles, and ending at New Hampshire Route 16, shall be reclassified as a class V highway.
95:3 Jericho Lake Road in City of Berlin; Classification Changed to Class III. Jericho Lake Road in the city of Berlin, beginning at the intersection of Jericho Lake Road and New Hampshire Route 110, continuing approximately 1.5 miles, and ending at a dead end north of Jericho Lake, shall be reclassified as a class III highway.
95:4 Reclassifications Contingent Upon Each Other. If either of the reclassifications provided for in section 2 of this act for Cates Hill Road and in section 3 of this act for Jericho Lake Road does not become law, the remaining reclassification shall not take effect.
95:5 Effective Date. This act shall take effect 60 days after its passage.
