STATE OF NEW HAMPSHIRE

In the Year of Our Lord Two Thousand Seven

AN ACT making an appropriation for the purposes of the catastrophic illness program.

Be it Enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court convened:

1 Appropriation; Catastrophic Illness Program. There is hereby appropriated the sum of $400,000 for the fiscal year ending June 30, 2008 and the sum of $400,000 for the fiscal year ending June 30, 2009 to the department of health and human services for the purposes of the catastrophic illness program. The governor is authorized to draw a warrant for said sums out of any money in the treasury not otherwise appropriated.

2 Effective Date. This act shall take effect July 1, 2007.

HB 667-FN-A - FISCAL NOTE

AN ACT making an appropriation for the purposes of the catastrophic illness program.

FISCAL IMPACT:

      The Office of Legislative Budget Assistant has determined this bill will increase state general fund expenditures by $400,000 in FY 2008, and $400,000 in FY 2009. There will be no fiscal impact on state, county, and local revenue, or county and local expenditures.

      This bill appropriates $400,000 from the general fund in both FY 2008 and FY 2009 to the Department of Health and Human Services for the purposes of this bill.

METHODOLOGY:

    The Office states this bill appropriates $400,000 from the state general fund in both FY 2008 and FY 2009 to the Department of Health and Human Services for the purposes of the catastrophic illness program.
