AN ACT relative to suspension or revocation of original drivers’ licenses.

STATE OF NEW HAMPSHIRE

In the Year of Our Lord Two Thousand Seven

AN ACT relative to suspension or revocation of original drivers’ licenses.

Be it Enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court convened:

1 Suspension or Revocation of Original Drivers’ Licenses. Amend RSA 263:14, III(b)(1) to read as follows:

(1) For a first offense [20] 7 days. If the director finds that suspension or revocation of a license would cause extraordinary hardship, the director may nullify the finding of an offense under subparagraph III(a), provided that the next finding that the driver has committed an offense shall be treated as the first offense. A person shall only be eligible for one nullification under this subparagraph.

2 Effective Date. This act shall take effect January 1, 2008.
