STATE OF NEW HAMPSHIRE
In the Year of Our Lord Two Thousand Seven
AN ACT making an appropriation to the town of Dorchester to rebuild the Province road bridge.
Be it Enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court convened:
1 Appropriation. For the purpose of repairing the Province road bridge, which was destroyed by floods that occurred in March 2005, the sum of $1,000,000, for the biennium year ending June 30, 2009, is hereby appropriated to the town of Dorchester. Such funds also may be used to repair roads and bridges in the surrounding area that sustained flood damage in March 2005. The governor is authorized to draw a warrant for said sum out of any money in the treasury not otherwise appropriated.
2 Effective Date. This act shall take effect July 1, 2007.

HB 845-FN-A - FISCAL NOTE
AN ACT making an appropriation to the town of Dorchester to rebuild the Province road bridge.
FISCAL IMPACT:
The Department of Transportation states this bill will increase state expenditures and local revenues by $1,000,000 in FY 2008. This bill will have no fiscal impact on state and county revenue or county and local expenditures.
This bill appropriates $1,000,000 from the state general fund in FY 2008 to the town of Dorchester for the purposes of this bill.
METHODOLOGY:
The Department states that this bill appropriates a $1,000,000 to the town of Dorchester in FY 2008, for the purpose of funding repairs to roads and bridges in the surrounding area of Dorchester that sustained flood damage in March 2005.
