STATE OF NEW HAMPSHIRE

In the Year of Our Lord Two Thousand Seven

AN ACT requiring the state of New Hampshire to transfer title to certain property to the town of Wakefield.

Be it Enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court convened:

1 State Transfer of Land. The state of New Hampshire shall transfer title of the land labeled as lot 105 on tax map 180 to the town of Wakefield for consideration of $1. Notwithstanding any provisions of RSA 78-B to the contrary, this sale shall not be subject to the real estate transfer tax.

2 Effective Date. This act shall take effect 60 days after its passage.

SB 239-FN - FISCAL NOTE

AN ACT requiring the state of New Hampshire to transfer title to certain property to the town of Wakefield.

FISCAL IMPACT:

The Department of Transportation has determined this bill will increase state revenues and local expenditures by $1. There is no fiscal impact on local and county revenues or state and county expenditures.

METHODOLOGY:

The Department indicates this bill requires the state to transfer ownership of property to the Town of Wakefield for consideration in the amount of $1. The parcel of land identified in this bill was appraised at $110,000 in 2005.
