STATE OF NEW HAMPSHIRE

In the Year of Our Lord Two Thousand Eight

AN ACT relative to cellular phone and satellite television records for child support enforcement.

Be it Enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court convened:

1 Child Support Enforcement; Access to Records. Amend RSA 161-C:3-a, VI to read as follows:

VI. The department is authorized to obtain access to certain records held by public utilities, cellular mobile radio communications companies, and cable or satellite television companies with respect to individuals who owe or are owed support, or against or with respect to whom a support obligation is sought, consisting of the names and addresses of such individuals and the names and addresses of the employers of such individuals, pursuant to an administrative subpoena issued by the commissioner.

2 Effective Date. This act shall take effect 60 days after its passage.
