STATE OF NEW HAMPSHIRE

In the Year of Our Lord Two Thousand Eight

AN ACT requiring a report of the number of female inmates incarcerated in a state correctional facility receiving sex offender treatment.

Be it Enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court convened:

163:1 Female Inmates Receiving Sex Offender Treatment. No later than November 1, 2008, the commissioner of the department of corrections shall submit a report to the speaker of the house, the president of the senate, and the governor detailing the number of female inmates incarcerated in a state correctional facility as “sexual offenders” and “offenders against children,” as those terms are defined in RSA 651-B:1, the number of such female inmates who are receiving sex offender treatment, and the sex offender treatment options available to such female inmates.

163:2 Effective Date. This act shall take effect 60 days after its passage.
