STATE OF NEW HAMPSHIRE

In the Year of Our Lord Two Thousand Eight

AN ACT relative to exempting the town of Wakefield from the setback requirements of the shoreland protection act.

Be it Enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court convened:

1 Setback Requirements for Wakefield. Amend RSA 483-B:9, II(b) to read as follows:

(b)(1) With the exception of the town of Wakefield, primary structures shall be set back behind the primary building line which is 50 feet from the reference line.

(2) Within the town of Wakefield, primary structures shall be set back behind the primary building line which is 30 feet from the reference line.

2 Effective Date. This act shall take effect 60 days after its passage.
