SENATE BILL 538
AN ACT relative to the community college system of New Hampshire board of trustees and repealing a motor vehicle regulation statute applicable to the community college system.
This bill changes the public membership and quorum required on the community college system of New Hampshire board of trustees and repeals a motor vehicle regulation statute applicable to the community college system of New Hampshire.

STATE OF NEW HAMPSHIRE
In the Year of Our Lord Two Thousand Eight
AN ACT relative to the community college system of New Hampshire board of trustees and repealing a motor vehicle regulation statute applicable to the community college system.
Be it Enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court convened:
133:1 Community College System of New Hampshire; Board of Trustees. Amend RSA 188-F:4, II(i) to read as follows:
(i) [Four] Eight members from the general public.
133:2 Community College System of New Hampshire; Operation of Board of Trustees. Amend RSA 188-F:5, III to read as follows:
III. [Ten] Twelve voting members shall constitute a quorum for the transaction of business, but not less than [10] 12 affirmative votes shall be required to elect the chancellor of the community college system.
133:3 Community College System of New Hampshire; Board of Trustees. Amend RSA 188-F:4, II(k) to read as follows:
(k) One member [representing a] from the technology [company] sector.
133:4 Repeal. RSA 188-F:20, relative to motor vehicle regulations applicable to the community college system of New Hampshire, is repealed.
133:5 Effective Date. This act shall take effect upon its passage.
