In the Year of Our Lord Two Thousand Nine
AN ACT relative to removing supervisors of the checklist.
Be it Enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court convened:
1 Removal of Supervisor of the Checklist. Amend RSA 41:12 to read as follows:
41:12 Removal of Collector, Clerk, Supervisor of the Checklist, or Treasurer. The selectmen may remove from office any collector of taxes, town clerk, supervisor of the checklist, or [any] treasurer, who, in their judgment, has become insane or otherwise incapacitated to discharge the duties of the office. They may proceed without notice in any case arising under this section.
2 Effective Date. This act shall take effect 60 days after its passage.
