STATE OF NEW HAMPSHIRE

In the Year of Our Lord Two Thousand Nine

AN ACT exempting certain information relating to suicides from the right-to-know law.

Be it Enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court convened:

1 New Paragraph; Right-to-Know Law; Exemption Added. Amend RSA 91-A:5 by inserting after paragraph IX the following new paragraph:

X. Information relating to a suicide gathered by police, unless the information is the subject of a criminal investigation.

2 Effective Date. This act shall take effect January 1, 2010.
