STATE OF NEW HAMPSHIRE

In the Year of Our Lord Two Thousand Nine

AN ACT relative to the commission to study access to consumer credit for people in New Hampshire.

Be it Enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court convened:

138:1 Membership; Commission to Study Access to Consumer Credit. Amend 2008, 321:10, I(a) to read as follows:

(a) [Two members] One member of the senate, appointed by the president of the senate.

138:2 New Subparagraph; Membership; Commission to Study Access to Consumer Credit. Amend 2008, 321:10, I by inserting after subparagraph (o) the following new subparagraph:

(p) A financial education expert, appointed by the governor.

138:3 Commission to Study Access to Consumer Credit; Extended. Amend 2008, 321:13 to read as follows:

321:13 Report. The commission shall report its findings and any recommendations for proposed legislation to the president of the senate, the speaker of the house of representatives, the senate clerk, the house clerk, the governor, and the state library on or before November 14, [2008] 2010.

138:4 Effective Date. This act shall take effect upon its passage.
