STATE OF NEW HAMPSHIRE
In the Year of Our Lord Two Thousand Ten
AN ACT relative to the dam management review committee.
Be it Enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court convened:
1 Legislative Dam Management Review Committee. RSA 482:93, I is repealed and reenacted to read as follows:
I. There is established the legislative dam management review committee. The members of the committee shall be as follows: 3 members of the house of representatives, including one member of the public works and highways committee, one member of the ways and means committee, and one member of the executive departments and administration committee, appointed by the speaker of the house of representatives, one of whom shall be designated by the speaker as chairman of the committee; and 3 members of the senate, appointed by the president of the senate. Members shall be appointed for their term of office, provided that all members shall be eligible for reappointment so long as they are qualified under the provisions of this section. The members shall choose from their number a secretary. Members of the committee shall not be compensated but shall be paid legislative mileage when attending committee meetings or attending to other committee business.
2 Legislative Dam Management Review Committee. Amend RSA 482:93, III(c) to read as follows:
(c) Criteria on which to base recommendations as to repair, breach, sale, decommissioning, or some other action regarding state owned dams related to the overall water resources management program of the state.
3 Effective Date. This act shall take effect 60 days after its passage.
