STATE OF NEW HAMPSHIRE

In the Year of Our Lord Two Thousand Ten

AN ACT requiring due process for educational support personnel.

Be it Enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court convened:

1 New Section; School Boards; Discipline of School Employees. Amend RSA 189 by inserting after section 14-g the following new section:

189:14-h School Employees; Disciplinary Actions. School districts, school administrative units, public academies, and chartered public schools shall provide all employees with due process protections as part of any disciplinary action and shall not discipline any employee without just cause.

2 Effective Date. This act shall take effect 60 days after its passage.
