STATE OF NEW HAMPSHIRE

In the Year of Our Lord Two Thousand Ten

A RESOLUTION urging all members of Congress who vote in favor of a government run health insurance option to enroll in that option and forgo their right to participate in the Federal Employees Health Benefits Program.

Whereas, members of Congress who vote in favor of the establishment of a public, federal government run health insurance option should agree to participate in such option and forgo their right to participate in the Federal Employees Health Benefits Program; now, therefore, be it

Resolved by the House of Representatives, the Senate concurring:

That the New Hampshire general court hereby supports the sense that members of Congress who vote in favor of the establishment of a public, federal government run health insurance option should agree to forego their right to participate in the Federal Employees Health Benefits Program and agree to enroll under that public option; and

That copies of this resolution be transmitted by the house clerk to the Speaker of the United States House of Representatives, the President of the United States Senate, and to each member of the New Hampshire congressional delegation.
