STATE OF NEW HAMPSHIRE

In the Year of Our Lord Two Thousand Eleven

AN ACT relative to claiming an invasive species as a habitat.

Be it Enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court convened:

1 New Paragraph; Endangered Species Conservation Act; Exemptions and Restrictions. Amend RSA 212-A:13 by inserting after paragraph III the following new paragraph:

IV. No provision of RSA 212-A nor rule adopted under this chapter shall claim an invasive species as a habitat for an endangered species.

2 Effective Date. This act shall take effect 60 days after its passage.

HB 439-FN-LOCAL - FISCAL NOTE

AN ACT relative to claiming an invasive species as a habitat.

FISCAL IMPACT:

    The Office of Legislative Budget Assistant is unable to complete a fiscal note for this bill as it is awaiting information from the New Hampshire Fish and Game Department. When completed, the fiscal note will be forwarded to the House Clerk's Office.
