STATE OF NEW HAMPSHIRE

In the Year of Our Lord Two Thousand Eleven

AN ACT relative to weed control along certain state routes.

Be it Enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court convened:

1 Capital Appropriation; Hampton Seashell Complex. Amend 2009, 145:1, X to read as follows:

X. Department of Resources and Economic Development.

A. Statewide Roofs and Park Repairs $1,200,000

B. Mount Washington Tip Top House Repairs 67,000

C. Mittersill Expansion 3,065,000

Less Other* -1,532,500

Net state appropriation subparagraph C 1,532,500

D. Hampton Seashell and 2 Bathhouses** 14,500,000

E. Hampton Beach Sea Wall Project 1,000,000

Total state appropriation paragraph X $18,299,500

*To provide funds for the appropriation made in subparagraph C, the state treasurer is hereby authorized to borrow upon the credit of the state not exceeding the sum of $1,532,500 and for said purpose may issue bonds and notes in the name of and on behalf of the state of New Hampshire in accordance with RSA 6-A. Payments of principal and interest on the bonds and notes shall be made from the Cannon Mountain capital improvement fund established in RSA 12-A:29-c.

**The department of resources and economic development shall reimburse the department of transportation for the costs of mowing the median strips and roadsides along N.H. Route 27, N.H. Route 101, and N.H. Route 1A in Hampton from the appropriation made in subparagraph D.

2 Hampton Seashell; Highway Maintenance. The department of transportation shall establish a regular schedule for mowing the roadsides and median strips of N.H. Route 27, N.H. Route 101, and N.H. Route 1A in Hampton for the purpose of beautifying the area around the Hampton seashell.

3 Effective Date. This act shall take effect June 30, 2011.
