STATE OF NEW HAMPSHIRE
In the Year of Our Lord Two Thousand Eleven
AN ACT naming a bridge in the town of Merrimack in honor of Corporal Timothy Gibson, U.S.M.C.
Be it Enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court convened:
14:1 Bridge Named in Honor of Corporal Timothy Gibson, U.S.M.C. Pursuant to RSA 4:43, the bridge on the F. E. Everett Turnpike at exit 11 that passes over Greeley street in the town of Merrimack, being designated as bridge number 113/089 in the state bridge inventory, shall be named the Corporal Timothy Gibson, U.S.M.C. Memorial Bridge in honor of Corporal Timothy Gibson, U.S.M.C. who was killed in action in Iraq in 2005. Appropriate signage or markers may be placed at the site.
14:2 Signage. The cost of design, construction, maintenance, and installation of any signage, replacement signage, or other markers authorized under section 1 of this act shall not be a charge to the state. However, the design, construction, and installation of any signage or other markers authorized under this act shall be approved by the department of transportation.
14:3 Effective Date. This act shall take effect 60 days after its passage.
