STATE OF NEW HAMPSHIRE
In the Year of Our Lord Two Thousand Eleven
AN ACT relative to the administration of certain pain relief medications by a school nurse.
Be it Enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court convened:
1 New Section; Administration of Over-the-Counter Pain Relievers. Amend RSA 200 by inserting after section 40-a the following new section:
200:40-b Administration of Certain Pain Relievers by School Nurse. A school nurse shall be permitted to administer over-the-counter pain relievers to a pupil with written parental consent.
2 Effective Date. This act shall take effect 60 days after its passage.
