STATE OF NEW HAMPSHIRE

In the Year of Our Lord Two Thousand Eleven

AN ACT requiring the commissioner of administrative services to develop a plan to consolidate the human resource functions within state government.

Be it Enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court convened:

1 Commissioner of Administrative Services; Plan to Consolidate Human Resources Functions Within State Government. The commissioner of administrative services shall review the various human resource functions performed by state agencies and identify responsibilities that may be consolidated to achieve greater efficiency and economies of scale within state government. The commissioner shall develop a plan to consolidate human resource functions within state government for consideration by the governor and legislature. On or before November 1, 2011, the commissioner shall submit the plan, and any recommendations for proposed legislation, to the governor, the speaker of the house of representatives, the senate president, and the state library.

2 Effective Date. This act shall take effect upon its passage.
