This bill makes technical corrections to a law relative to court facility financing to reflect current procedures for negotiation and approval of leases.
This bill was requested by the supreme court and the department of administrative services.

STATE OF NEW HAMPSHIRE
In the Year of Our Lord Two Thousand Eleven
AN ACT making technical corrections to a law relative to court facility financing.
Be it Enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court convened:
196:1 State Financing of Court Facilities. Amend RSA 490-B:5, II to read as follows:
II. The amount to be paid for each court facility shall be negotiated by the [administrative office of the courts and approved by the court accreditation commission] department of administrative services and shall be subject to final approval [by the fiscal committee of the general court and] by the governor and council or the department of administrative services, whichever is applicable under statutes, rules, or the procedures of governor and council.
196:2 Effective Date. This act shall take effect upon its passage.
