STATE OF NEW HAMPSHIRE
In the Year of Our Lord Two Thousand Twelve
AN ACT prohibiting compelled speech.
Be it Enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court convened:
1 New Section; Abuse of Office; Compelled Speech. Amend RSA 643 by inserting after section 2 the following new section:
643:3 Compelled Speech. Any person who holds elected or appointed office who uses the name and address of another person to advocate on behalf of or against an issue or a candidate for any publicly elected offices shall be guilty of a violation. In this section, “party official” shall be as defined in RSA 640:2, II.
2 Effective Date. This act shall take effect January 1, 2013.
