STATE OF NEW HAMPSHIRE

In the Year of Our Lord Two Thousand Twelve

AN ACT relative to the construction of power line extensions.

Be it Enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court convened:

1 New Section; Installation of Power Line Extensions. Amend RSA 370 by inserting after section 11 the following new section:

370:12 Installation of Power Line Extensions. Any New Hampshire utility customer that requires a power line extension may hire a contractor who is licensed in the state of New Hampshire and is approved by the utility. Such contractor shall supply and install materials specified by the local utility for underground and overhead line extensions.

2 Effective Date. This act shall take effect 60 days after its passage.
