STATE OF NEW HAMPSHIRE
In the Year of Our Lord Two Thousand Twelve
AN ACT relative to fiscal notes on bills.
Be it Enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court convened:
1 Fiscal Notes on Bills. Amend RSA 14:46, IV to read as follows:
IV. The fiscal note for any bill with a fiscal impact shall be prepared and incorporated prior to the introduction of the bill or resolution. A fiscal note containing words to the effect of “the office of legislative budget assistant is unable to complete a fiscal note for this bill as it is awaiting information from an agency or agencies” shall not satisfy the requirements of this paragraph.
2 Effective Date. This act shall take effect 60 days after its passage.
