STATE OF NEW HAMPSHIRE
In the Year of Our Lord Two Thousand Twelve
AN ACT requiring United States flags purchased with state funds or displayed in state facilities to be manufactured in the United States.
Be it Enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court convened:
1 United States Flag; Display; American-Made. Amend RSA 3-E:1 to read as follows:
3-E:1 United States Flag; Display.
I. The flag of the United States of America shall be displayed in state facilities in accordance with federal law. United States flags used by the military for military purposes shall be exempt from the provisions of this chapter.
II. Any United States flag purchased with state funds or displayed in a state facility shall be manufactured in the United States. This paragraph shall only apply to flags acquired after the effective date of this paragraph.
2 Effective Date. This act shall take effect 60 days after its passage.
