STATE OF NEW HAMPSHIRE

In the Year of Our Lord Two Thousand Twelve

AN ACT exempting the transport of certain electronic waste and universal waste from the hazardous waste transporter registration program.

Be it Enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court convened:

1 New Paragraph; Hazardous Waste Transporter Registration Program; Exemptions. Amend RSA 147-A:6 by inserting after paragraph V the following new paragraph:

VI. Transporters of electronic waste and universal waste from one municipality to another as part of an agreement between municipalities to consolidate such waste for recycling or disposal shall be exempt from the transporter registration program.

2 Effective Date. This act shall take effect 60 days after its passage.
