AN ACT relative to the storage of florescent lamps at transfer stations.

STATE OF NEW HAMPSHIRE

In the Year of Our Lord Two Thousand Fourteen

AN ACT relative to the storage of florescent lamps at transfer stations.

Be it Enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court convened:

1 Solid Waste Disposal; Rulemaking; Florescent Lamps. Amend RSA 147-A:3, IV to read as follows:

IV. The storage, treatment, containerization, transportation, and disposal of hazardous wastes; provided, however, that:

(a) No rule shall be adopted or applied so as to impose any transporter permitting program or requirement.

(b) No rule shall be adopted or applied that would require a transfer station to store florescent lamps in closed containers if such lamps are stored for a period of less than one week.

2 Effective Date. This act shall take effect 60 days after its passage.
