Memorializing State Representative Amy S. Perkins of Seabrook

WHEREAS, we have learned with profound sorrow of the death of our friend and colleague, Amy S. Perkins, who was serving her third term as a State Representative, representing the citizens of Rockingham County District #20, the towns of Hampton Falls and Seabrook; and

WHEREAS, Amy S. Perkins served with diligence and enthusiasm on the committees of Municipal & County Government, Children & Family Law and Legislative Administration, receiving praise from committee colleagues, regardless of party, for her attention to detail and quest for understanding; and

WHEREAS, Amy Perkins was devoted to her community serving as a Sunday School teacher, on the Seabrook Fire Auxiliary, and as a member of the American Legion Women’s Auxiliary and spent her career working in the medical field helping to provide for the health care needs of many people; and

WHEREAS, Amy Perkins was self motivated; an exuberant individual who rushed headlong into any task or adventure before her; be it motherhood, teaching herself to play piano or serving as an effective voice for her constituents; and

WHEREAS, above all, Amy S. Perkins was a devoted wife and mother who loved being on the dune buggy or at home with her husband Koko, her son Daumanic and her 100 pound dog Jake; now, therefore, be it

RESOLVED, by the House of Representatives in Regular Session convened, Amy S. Perkins be granted the highest praise and accolades and our profound thanks for her service to her state and the town she called home, and, be it further

RESOLVED, that expressions of our most heartfelt sympathy be extended to her family and that a suitable copy of this Resolution be prepared for presentation to them.
