AN ACT relative to the city of Manchester employees’ contributory retirement system.

STATE OF NEW HAMPSHIRE

In the Year of Our Lord Two Thousand Fourteen

AN ACT relative to the city of Manchester employees’ contributory retirement system.

Be it Enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court convened:

1 Manchester Employees’ Contributory Retirement System; Spouse. 1973, 218:4, XXI as amended by 2002, 194:1 and 2008, 90:1 is repealed and reenacted to read as follows:

XXI. “Spouse” means a person legally married to a member.

2 Manchester Employees’ Contributory Retirement System; School District Employee Eligibility. Amend 1973, 218:7, IV(b) as amended by 2002, 194:1 and 2008, 90:3 to read as follows:

(b) Manchester school district employees shall be eligible if contracted for at least 30 hours per week, for a [minimum of 180 days] contract year, except in the case of school food and nutrition staff who must work 20 hours per week, for a [minimum of 180 days] contract year.

3 Effective Date. This act shall take effect upon its passage.
