SENATE BILL 293
AN ACT relative to an open adoption agreement in a pending termination of parental rights case.

STATE OF NEW HAMPSHIRE
In the Year of Our Lord Two Thousand Fourteen
AN ACT relative to an open adoption agreement in a pending termination of parental rights case.
Be it Enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court convened:
1 Enforcement of Final Stipulation in Termination of Parental Rights Case No. 313-2013-TP-00019. Notwithstanding RSA 170-B:14, I, or any other provision of law to the contrary, the final stipulation dated October 11, 2013, in termination of parental rights case number 313-2013-TP-00019, filed in the eighth circuit court probate division in Keene, shall be a valid agreement between the parties. If approved by the court, all provisions of the final stipulation, including those regarding contact between the birth parent, child, and adoptive parents, shall be enforceable.
2 Effective Date. This act shall take effect 60 days after its passage.
