Memorializing State Representative Robbie Parsons of Milton

WHEREAS we have learned with profound sorrow of the death of our friend and colleague, Robbie L. Parsons, who was serving his third term as a State Representative representing the citizens of Strafford County District 1, the towns of Middleton and Milton; and

WHEREAS Robbie Parsons served with diligence and enthusiasm on the committees on Criminal Justice and Public Safety and Judiciary receiving praise from committee colleagues, regardless of party, for his attention to detail and quest for understanding; and

WHEREAS Robbie Parsons was dedicated to the county in which he lived, being elected Vice Chair of his delegation and worked with county officials to help open a hospice care center, that recently honored Robbie by naming their memorial garden for him; and

WHEREAS Robbie Parsons was dedicated to the communities he lived in by serving on various boards and commissions for the sole purpose of helping to improve the lives of the people he worked with; and

WHEREAS despite a long and sustained battle with cancer, Robbie Parsons continued to serve in Concord as much as he was able with little complaint and provided friendship and advice to his colleagues in the House of Representatives; and

WHEREAS above all, Robbie L. Parsons was a dedicated family man who relished spending time with his wife, children, step-children, grand children and great-granddaughter; now, therefore, be it

RESOLVED, by the House of Representatives in Regular Session convened, Robbie L. Parsons be granted the highest praise and accolades and our profound thanks for his service to his state and the town he called home, and, be it further

RESOLVED, that expressions of our most heartfelt sympathy be extended to his family and that a suitable copy of this Resolution be prepared for presentation to them.
