SENATE BILL 21
AN ACT relative to the board of mental health practice.

This bill changes the quorum for meetings of the board of mental health practice and clarifies the procedure for reinstatement of nonrenewed licenses issued by the board.

STATE OF NEW HAMPSHIRE
In the Year of Our Lord Two Thousand Fifteen
AN ACT relative to the board of mental health practice.
Be it Enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court convened:
76:1 Mental Health Practice; Board Quorum. Amend RSA 330-A:9, I to read as follows:
I. The board shall hold regular annual meetings. Other meetings of the board shall be held at such times and upon such notice as the rules of the board provide. [Five] Four members shall constitute a quorum.
76:2 Mental Heath Practice; Reinstatement of License. Amend RSA 330-A:31, II to read as follows:
II. If a license is not renewed it may be [retroactively] reinstated not later than 6 months after the date of license expiration upon payment of the fee and compliance with rules adopted by the board. A license may be placed on inactive status pursuant to rules adopted by the board.
76:3 Effective Date. This act shall take effect 60 days after its passage.
