AN ACT relative to duties of the legislative oversight committee established under the statewide education improvement and assessment program.

STATE OF NEW HAMPSHIRE
In the Year of Our Lord Two Thousand Fifteen
AN ACT relative to duties of the legislative oversight committee established under the statewide education improvement and assessment program.
Be it Enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court convened:
1 New Paragraph; Duties of the Legislative Oversight Committee. Amend RSA 193-C:8 by inserting after paragraph X the following new paragraph:
XI. Study the model of elementary and secondary education used in Finland, focusing on the details of how that model is practiced, the results attained, and how it differs from elementary and secondary education in New Hampshire, and make recommendations as deemed necessary.
2 Effective Date. This act shall take effect 60 days after its passage.
