STATE OF NEW HAMPSHIRE
In the Year of Our Lord Two Thousand Fifteen
AN ACT relative to documentation of age to purchase alcoholic beverages and tobacco products.
Be it Enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court convened:
179:1 Documentation of Age. Amend RSA 179:8, I(a) and (b) to read as follows:
(a) A motor vehicle driver’s license issued by the state of New Hampshire, or a valid driver’s license issued by another state, the District of Columbia, a United States territory, or a province of Canada, which bears the date of birth, name, address, and picture of the licensee.
(b) An identification card issued by the director of motor vehicles under the provisions of RSA 260:21, or any picture identification card issued by another state, the District of Columbia, or a United States territory, which bears the date of birth, name, and address of the individual.
179:2 Proof of Age. Amend RSA 126-K:3, I(a) to read as follows:
(a) A motor vehicle driver's license issued by the state of New Hampshire, or a valid driver's license issued by another state, the District of Columbia, a United States territory, or a province of Canada, which bears the date of birth, name, address, and picture of the individual.
179:3 Effective Date. This act shall take effect upon its passage.
