STATE OF NEW HAMPSHIRE
In the Year of Our Lord Two Thousand Sixteen
AN ACT\tprohibiting the retroactive application of the sex offender registry.
Be it Enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court convened:
\t1 New Section; Registration of Criminal Offenders; Retroactive Application Prohibited. Amend RSA 651-B by inserting after section 12 the following new section:
\t651-B:13 Retroactive Application Prohibited. A sexual offender or offender against children who is required to register pursuant to this chapter shall be subject to the registration laws in effect at the time of the offense requiring registration.
\t2 Effective Date. This act shall take effect 60 days after its passage.
