STATE OF NEW HAMPSHIRE

 

In the Year of Our Lord Two Thousand Sixteen

 

AN ACT\trelative to the siting of certain new pipelines and storage vessels.

 

Be it Enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court convened:

 

\t1  New Section; New Construction of Underground Pipelines and Storage Tanks.  Amend RSA 162-H by inserting after section 10-b the following new section:

\t162-H:10-c  New Construction of Underground Pipelines and Storage Tanks.  After the effective date of this section, any certificate issued for underground construction of a pipeline or tank that is used for the commercial transmission, distribution, or storage of explosive, flammable, contaminate, or hazardous gasses or liquids shall require such construction to be below the frost line.

\t2  Effective Date.  This act shall take effect 60 days after its passage.
