STATE OF NEW HAMPSHIRE

 

In the Year of Our Lord Two Thousand Sixteen

 

AN ACT\trelative to the definition of "houseboat."

 

Be it Enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court convened:

 

\t1  Definitions; Houseboat.  Amend RSA 270-A:1, II to read as follows:

\t\tII.  "Houseboat'' means any ship, boat, raft, float, catamaran, or marine craft of any description upon or within which are located sleeping and toilet facilities, regardless of whether such facilities are of a permanent or temporary nature.  No sailing vessel used for the training of youths in maritime skills programs shall be considered a houseboat for the purposes of this chapter.

\t2  Effective Date.  This act shall take effect 60 days after its passage.
